Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) invited applications for recruitment of various Group- 'C' posts :

1. Head Constable (Pioneer): 23
2. Head Constable (Welder): 1
3. Head Constable (Plumber): 1
4. Head Constable (Technical): 27
5. Head Constable (Carpenter/Mason): 2
6. Head Constable (Fitter/Blacksmith): 5
7. Constable (Carpenter): 6
8. Constable (Mason): 6
9. Constable (Plumber): 6
10. Constable (Welder): 3

Educational Qualification

• Head Constable: 10^th or equivalent and ITI certificate in trade of carpenter or Mason or Plumber or Blacksmith or Electrician or welder or Polisher or Painter or Machinist.
• Constable: 10^th or equivalent and ITI certificate in trade of carpenter.

Age Limit

• Candidate’s age should be between 18-25 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Application Fee

• General/OBC candidates need to pay Rs.50/- as application fees by Demand Draft or IPO.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Ex-Servicemen and BSF Candidates are exempted from fee.

How to Apply

• Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format as given in notification.
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect along with DD and attested copies of all required Certificates/Documents should be submitted to the respective address as given in the notification within 30 days from the date of Publication of the advertisement.
• Candidates should mention “Application for recruitment of Group- 'C' posts (Combatant) in BSF Engg Set up (CIVIL) & NDRF BNs 2014-15”on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
