By means of this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking appointment on the post of Assistant Teacher L.T.grade pursuant to an advertisement published on 27.12.2010 for appointment in Government Girls Inter Colleges in Varanasi Region, Varanasi. The petitioner being the highest in the merit is claiming adjustment against the vacancies reserved for freedom fighters. However, the stand of the respondents are that in a particular subject for which the petitioner had applied, there is no vacancy in the freedom fighter quota.
The matter requires consideration.
Learned Standing Counsel prays for and is allowed one month's time to file counter affidavit.
