Written Examination
The written examination is the entry level process in the due course of recruitment process. Among the huge pile of applications this process sorts out the candidates who made the cut off mark and score well in the examinations. The written examination consists of five sections which are Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. Each section carries 40 marks which makes the total 200 marks, which needs to get solved in the bound time of 2 hours by the candidates. The question asked are objective type which carries negative marks on wrong evaluation.
Interview
Those candidates who could successfully get through with the written examinations and could score the cut off marks would be called for personal interviews which is conducted by the organizations and banking bodies that participates in the overall recruitment process. Selected candidates are informed about the interview venue, date and time through the help of a call letter, sent by post or through e-mail. The interview carries a total mark of 100, and the minimum marks to qualify in the interview are not less than 40%. The overall recruitment gets based on the marks of written examination as well as the interview, but the ratio of the weightage of the two remains to be 80:20.
Medical Test & Allotment
Those candidates who qualify both in the written as well as interview examinations get almost qualify for the main job. They are then sent for a routine medical test and are then allotted according to the state wise vacancies in various banks. There would be a thorough verification of documents at the time of interview and any candidate who could not produce original certificates or documents would get rejected. Only those candidates who would satisfy all eligible criteria, proof all the declared qualifications crack both the written exam and interview and pass the medical tests would be offered a letter of appointment in various banks.
